Welcome to the homepage of Civil Air Patrol's Arundel Composite Squadron
The Civil Air Patrol was organized in December 1941. It fulfilled many
non-combatant roles for the US Army Air Corps in the U.S. including border
surveillance, target-towing, courier duties, and pre-flight training.
Today,
C.A.P.
is chartered by Congress as the official civilian auxiliary of the US Air
Force. We have over 55,000* civilian volunteers
nationwide, including over 21,000 cadets members ages 12-21, who share an interest in aviation
and community services. Our missions are aerospace education, emergency
services, and an exciting cadet program.
*As of Dec 2007
The Arundel Composite Squadron meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at the Glen Lutheran Church located at 106 Carroll Road in Glen Burnie.
