Welcome to our new safety page. We will post items here from time to time on a wide variety of topics in the interest of operational safety.
The Middle East Region Director of Safety and the Safety Officers from each Wing have inaugurated the “Safety Blitz” program to enhance safety in our region. This is a dedicated one week period of time during which each Unit will review their wing’s safety record for FY05 and that of the MER, focus on safety issues, mishap prevention, safety education, and correcting potential safety related hazards, and brief safety issues in anticipation of the change of seasons with emphasis on the special challenges of seasonal operations. As part of the Safety Blitz, each member of our unit was required to view the Safety PowerPoint presentation created by MER. It was presented to our members at the November 22, 2005 squadron meeting. It can be downloaded by clicking here.
